M : Let’s go for a walk in the hills.

E: But if it rains, we’ll get wet.

M : If it rains we won’t get wet because we’ll find a cave.

E : What will we do if we find insects and bears in the cave?

M: If we find insects and bears, we won’t stay in the cave!

E : What will we do if we get lost?

M : We’ll phone my mum if we get lost.

E : What will we do if she doesn’t answer the phone?

M : We’ll call the police.              

Explications :

Le dialogue est au futur, il faut donc utiliser will + infinitif.

Mais il y a certaines phrases avec "if" . En anglais il faut mettre la proposition principale au futur et la subordonnée au présent simple.

==>       if + présent simple  //   will + infinitif

            will + infinitif    //   if  + présent simple
